Protection, GBV, and Gender Mainstreaming
The Protection, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Gender Mainstreaming Advocacy Program (PGGMAP) by AMAN promote awareness about Healthy Life, Protection of children and women, and senior citizens most affected by violence and displacement. The program works diligently to educate and empower communities through informative sessions and engaging promotional materials. The program’s efforts are reinforced by the valuable contributions of Community Mobilizers and Psychosocial Support Workers, a referral mechanism to ensure the safety of victims, along with providing the effective dissemination of vital information.
The PGGMAP has reached an impressive milestone with remarkable success, raising awareness among 70 thousand individuals in Rohingya and Host Communities. This noteworthy initiative extends its outreach to multiple locations, including Dhaka, Cox’s Bazar, Comilla, Rangpur, Kustia, Dinajpur, and others, positively impacting many lives.
Adolescent hygiene is crucial for physical health and self-confidence. From menstrual care to skincare, dental hygiene to nutrition, adopting good hygiene practices empowers adolescents to navigate their journey to adulthood with confidence and vitality. Awareness Meeting on Adolescent Girls Hygiene Ensuring and GBV Prevention

Awareness Meeting on Population Control
Although population growth in 20th and 21st Century has skyrocketed, it can be slowed, stopped, controlled and reversed through actions which enhance global justice and improve people’s lives. Under the United Nations most optimistic scenario, a sustainable reduction in the population could happen within decades. In this sense, AMAN (Association for Mass Advancement Network) organized Awareness meeting on population control. The participants were provided basic knowledge of population or birth control.
Awareness Meeting for Disable People
Bangladesh has the necessary policy framework to protect the rights of around 16 lakh people with disabilities. The country has ratified the United Nations convention on rights of person with disabilities in 2007 and also formulated the person with disabilities rights and protection act 2013 and Neurodevelopment protection act 2013, which are aimed at eliminating discriminations persons with disabilities face. In these sense, AMAN (Association for Mass Advancement Network) organized Awareness meeting for disable people. The participants were provided basic knowledge of adolescent management and GBV protection.
Awareness Meeting on Migration
A big number of Bangladeshi people work all over the world. They send a big amount of foreign currency every year which play an important role on the economy of the country. But these immigrants face many kinds of problems in their working place because of awareness. In order to raise awareness among the rural people, AMAN (Association for Mass Advancement Network) implemented ‘’Safe Migration Awareness Program”. The participants were provided basic knowledge about migration, the right ways of migration and the effects of illegal immigration. People including men and women were directly benefitted by the program.
Awareness Meeting on Psychosocial Problems
The children who suffer from psycho related diseases face psychosocial harassment in every moment. They cannot lead their lives easily. On the other hand, if the society come forward to these children with caring mind, they can be the wealth for the society. To ensure community based psychosocial awareness, AMAN (Association for Mass Advancement Network) organized an awareness meeting. The participants were provided basic knowledge of psychosocial problems and about how to make it asset for the country.
