Mst. Roshna Begum, about 40 years of age. She is from Kurigram district. The area she lives in is a flood prone area. Every year flood hits this area and left its scar on local people. They suffer from not only water pollution but also causes severe shortage of safe drinking water. She states, “When the flood comes, we become helpless. We can’t get any drinking water. We had to collect water from distant places.” According to her, after getting the tube well she is now benefited and can have access to safe drinking water.
