Echo Feed the Hungry Project 2025 – 400 Hot Meals Served with Love On 13 August 2025, the Echo Feed the Hungry Project 2025 reached another milestone of compassion and care. In the heart of our community, 400 hot meal packs were distributed to individuals living on the streets and families who struggle to secure even one meal a day. Each meal was more than just food — it was a symbol of hope, dignity, and humanity. For many, it meant going to bed without the pain of hunger for the first time in days. This life-changing initiative is implemented by AMAN and supported by ECHO USA, driven by the belief that no one should be left behind. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every person, regardless of their circumstances, has access to a warm and nourishing meal. As the smiles lit up faces and hands reached out in gratitude, we were reminded that small acts of kindness can create waves of change. These 400 meals didn’t just fill stomachs — they warmed hearts and restored faith in humanity. Together, we can fight hunger. Together, we can build a future where everyone has enough to eat. Locations We Are Supporting This initiative is reaching communities in the following locations:✔️ Amin Bazar✔️ Dhaka Uddan✔️ Chandrima✔️ Street Why This Program Matters Hunger is not just the absence of food — it is the absence of opportunity, dignity, and hope. In our community, there are countless people who face the daily uncertainty of where their next meal will come from. The Echo Feed the Hungry Project 2025 exists to break this cycle, one meal at a time. Every plate served is a message that you are seen, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. By providing 400 hot meals on 13 August 2025, we are not just feeding bodies — we are feeding hope. Sewing Machine Distribution Program
A Milestone in Women’s Empowerment On February 14, 2025, Aman and its dedicated team, in collaboration with the Bibi Hajira Skill Development Center, successfully organized the Sewing Machine Distribution Program (1446/2025) at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Govt. Girls’ High School. This program aimed to empower women by providing them with both the necessary vocational training and sewing machines, thereby helping them achieve financial independence and contribute to their families’ well-being. The program saw the distribution of 1,200 sewing machines, generously donated by the Al-Imdaad Foundation, to women who had completed their training at the center. A Collaborative Effort for Women’s Empowerment This initiative represents a significant step toward empowering women by equipping them with both skills and tools to start their own businesses. The sewing machines will allow beneficiaries to work from home, take tailoring orders, and generate a steady income, improving their quality of life. The program was made possible through a generous donation from Dr. Imraan Hassim and the Al-Imdaad Foundation, whose continuous support in humanitarian and development projects has made a profound impact on the lives of many. Aman, committed to reducing poverty and fostering self-reliance, played an integral role in organizing and executing this event, ensuring its success. Bibi Hajira Skill Development Center: A Hub for Learning The Bibi Hajira Skill Development Center, established to provide vocational training to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, offers structured courses in tailoring, fabric cutting, stitching, and embroidery. This training is designed to equip women with the skills they need to start their own businesses and become financially independent. For many of the women enrolled, this program is a pathway to break free from financial struggles and create a sustainable future for themselves and their families. 1,200 Sewing Machines Distributed to Skilled Beneficiaries The highlight of the event was the distribution of 1,200 sewing machines, donated by the Al-Imdaad Foundation, to trained women. These machines will help beneficiaries set up their own tailoring businesses and take on local orders, contributing to their financial independence. How the Beneficiaries Will Benefit: Self-Employment Opportunities: Women can start their own tailoring businesses, take orders from local businesses, and provide custom services. Financial Stability: The income from their sewing work will help them cover household expenses, support their children’s education, and improve their overall living standards. Work-from-Home Flexibility: Many of the beneficiaries are mothers and caregivers. Having a sewing machine at home allows them to balance work with family responsibilities. Aman’s Role: Organizing & Facilitating the Program Aman played a key role in organizing and facilitating the event, from selecting deserving beneficiaries to ensuring the smooth execution of the program. Aman’s commitment to empowering women through skill development and its extensive network of partners and volunteers helped make this event a success. Aman has been actively involved in reducing poverty through various initiatives, including education, health services, vocational training, and food assistance. This sewing machine distribution program is in line with Aman’s mission to provide resources and opportunities for self-reliance, particularly among underprivileged women. Al-Imdaad Foundation: A Generous Contribution to Women’s Empowerment The Al-Imdaad Foundation, a long-time partner of Aman, generously donated all 1,200 sewing machines to this initiative. Their contribution is instrumental in helping these women transform their lives by providing them with the tools necessary to become financially independent.
